LOUIS LEBLANC WITH THE HABS! |

November 29, 2011  The Montreal Canadiens have recalled former Lions standout Louis Leblanc '08 and Midget AAA league MVP (2008) to join the team on their west coast trip starting with tomorrow nights game versus the Anaheim Ducks!
Louis was informed late last night at his home in Hamilton and boarded a plane this morning bound for Anaheim. Leblanc's recall to the 'Big Club' comes after the Canadiens were informed that Max Pacioretty was suspended 3 games for his hit on Pittsburgh's Kris Letang. Louis is scheduled to stay with the team for the 3 game road trip that will see the Canadiens battle versus Anaheim, San Jose Sharks and the LA Kings. Calling LSL Lions coaching staff from his cell phone while awaiting to board the plane, Louis expressed excitement and was anxious to hit the ice for his first NHL game with the Montreal Canadiens! CENT ANCIENS DE LA LIGUE MIDGET AAA |

CENT ANCIENS DE LA LIGUE MIDGET AAA AUX HOCKEY UNIVERSITAIRE CANADIEN. En consultant les diverses listes de joueur des universités canadiennes ont remarque qu’il y a exactement cent (100) anciens porte couleurs d’équipes de la Ligue Midget AAA. Ces joueurs continuent donc de jumelé étude et le sport qu’il aime : le hockey. C’est sans surprise que les 3 universités du Québec sont les plus populaires pour nos anciens joueurs. L’UQTR domine la liste avec 23 gradués de la Ligue Midget AAA suivi de Concordia avec 20 et McGill avec 18. Les autres universités fréquentées par nos anciens sont : Moncton (12), Ottawa (7), Dalhousie (7), St-Thomas (6), Université du Nouveau-Brunswick (2), Carleton (2), Lakehead (1), Acadia (1) et St-Francois-Xavier (1).
